Overview
We hope you are happy with your purchase; however, you can return your item to Sonjiki in its unused and resalable condition within 14 days of receipt. We cannot accept returns that have been torn, soiled, or damaged due to incorrect use. In this event, please notify Sonjiki of your intention to return an item by replying to your order confirmation email.
Return Period
Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt. The return window starts from the day the item is delivered to your address. Returns received after this period will not be accepted and will be returned to the original order address.
Return Process

Notify Us: Before sending your item back, please notify us of your intention to return the item by replying to your order confirmation email. Wait for a confirmation email from our customer service team with further instructions. Unauthorised returns may not be processed.

Packaging: Ensure the item is re-packed in a secure, waterproof package with all original labels and tags still attached. Inadequately packaged returns may result in damage during shipping, which can affect the eligibility for a refund.

Proof of Postage and Delivery: Obtain proof of postage from your post office and keep it safe as evidence of your return. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method as this ensures the item is returned within the allowed period and provides a clear date of return.

Return Address: The return address will be provided in the return authorisation email. Ensure you use the provided address format and include your original order number inside the package. Packages without this information will not be processed at all.
Shipping Returns

Cost of Return Shipping: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Non-Refundable Shipping Fees: Shipping costs are non-refundable. The original shipping fee paid for the order is also non-refundable.
Additional Information for Orders Outside the UK
If you are returning an item to us from outside the UK, please ensure a customs declaration form is completed, clearly marking the parcel as ‘RETURNED GOODS’. Any customs fees or additional charges incurred due to incorrect declaration will be deducted from your refund amount. Sonjiki may refuse a return if additional charges are applied or deduct the additional charge from the refund amount.
Refunds
All refunds are processed upon receipt and inspection of the returned item. An email will be sent to advise this. The refund amount will be subject to the original shipping fees deduction. Any shipping fees incurred by you will not be refunded. Sonjiki reserves the right to refuse a refund if you are unable to provide the proof of posting and delivery. If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to be processed.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund after 10 working days, contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund is reflected. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@sonjiki.co.uk.
Exchanges
Unfortunately, we are not in a position to offer exchanges. However, you may return your purchase for a refund and place a new order (please review the returns policy).
Store Credit
Store credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Any unused balance after this period will expire. Store credits cannot be exchanged for cash.
Gifts
All refunds are issued via the original payment method. If an item is marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, the refund will be issued to the original payment method. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the original payment method.
