How to Measure Your Clothing Size

To ensure the best fit for Sonjiki clothing, please follow these simple measurement guidelines:

  • Measure the Bust Measure around the fullest part of your bust, typically over the nipples. Ensure that the measuring tape is snug but not tight against your body, and it should be parallel to the ground.
  • Measure the Waist Locate your natural waist, which is the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button. Measure around this area, again keeping the tape snug but not tight and parallel to the ground.
  • Measure the Hips Measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks, typically around 8-10 inches (20-25 cm) below your waist. Like before, keep the tape snug but not tight and parallel to the ground.
  •  Determine the Length You’ll need to measure from your shoulder down to where you want the abaya to end. Use a mirror to help you identify the desired length, and measure from the highest point of your shoulder to that point.

Compare to Sizing Chart below and choose the size that corresponds to your measurements. Remember, taking accurate measurements ensures that you select the right abaya size for your body, leading to a comfortable and flattering fit.
